Cutting Streaming

Everybody in the beginning of the year seem to review their budgets and I am no exception. I actually started in Nov. when Hulu live announced it was going to raise its prices. I decided that they raised their price enough over the last few years that I was going to drop Hulu Live but keep ad-free Hulu. I didn’t watch enough live TV and I still had cable so Hulu Live was going. Then when Netflix said they were raising their price, I decided they were going as well. I don’t watch Netflix or LiveTV enough to justify either. I had a new iPhone so that gave me HBOMax and AppleTV+ and I already had a three year DisneyPlus subscription that I should be set. Plus, I had a Youtube ad-free subscription from the days it was YouTube Red that I wasn’t giving that up any time soon especially since I watched Youtube about two hours a day. I have CBS-All-Access as well. That annual subscription ends if February and I will probably renew it for one year to see what Paramount does to it. That may get eliminated in 2022.

I went through other annual subscriptions and didn’t find anything else to immediately get rid of. I am working on some subscription services but they take time to either find a replace or move things over, but I expect in 2022, I will have eliminated some software subscriptions.  As for streaming subscriptions. I think I am good
