Finally Cut the Cord (Sorta)

I finally was so disgusted with my cable bill I decided to try live TV from Hulu. I already had Hulu for a year and it was great until they changed the user interface recently. They change the user interface to support live TV. I am trying Hulu Live for a month but I already know at the end of the month I am dropping Hulu Live (but keeping regular Hulu).

My first major compliant was with the DVR function. It didn’t always seem to work. Fortunately it is the summer so it was not really a big deal. My number one compliant is picture quality. It wasn’t that good. The stuff that wasn’t live was OK, the live stuff for me was pretty bad. I have an OLED TV so I definitely noticed the quality difference. The quality issue was a deal deal breaker for me.

I might try again in a few months when YouTube Live TV is available on AppleTV or I switch to a 4K stick from Amazon or Roku (I have older sticks for both). For now it is back to Comcast.
