Hybrid or Electric

My best friend since High School called. We started chatting about his new car. It was a hybrid and he loved it. It does 32 miles on electric and then uses gas. His work is about 10 miles from his house and has a charger so he doesn’t really need gas except to visit his family. He was telling me all the benefits of electric and I told him this would not work for me. I go 16 miles each way and there was no charging station at work. He told me I could ask work to put one in and I laughed at him. The state has rebates! I rolled my eyes (no affect on the phone) and changed the subject. After a few minutes he brought up the car again. I told him it was useless. I like to listen to my stereo, I like my AC and I travel on trips for at least 100 miles every month and sometimes to family on a 1,200 miles round-trip.
