Tesla Week 1

I am ashamed to admit, I am really not fond of my new Tesla. I really miss my heads-up display, my locations buttons and my shifter knob on my center console. The car is so wide it barely fits in my garage. Autopilot does not work well on local/state roads. I don’t do well with change. I may go back to my BMW.

Today I drove to another outlet mall, but it is 65 miles from my house. Major range anxiety. The outlet had an electric car charging station but it was EVGo and was not compatible with the Tesla even with a converter. Fortuantely there is a Supercharger 14 miles north of the outlet and it was in the parking lot of an Italian restaurant. During lunch I had charging anxiety. I didn’t want to have to run out of the restaurant because my car finished charger. I checked my iPhone every two minutes. I did finish lunch before my car was charged so I was good to go. One the way home I stopped at a destination charger at a grocery store not far from my house. I am trying to find every place to charge in case I can’t make it home. Hopefully range anxiety passes soon.
