Home Assistant Continued

I slowly am dipping my toes back in the water and Home Assistant is starting to grow on me. I have a few components and I am seeing that I need to come up with naming standards. The naming standards will help me with the Alexa commands and will also make using the automation tools easier. I tried to find some naming standards but I found discussions on the topic and it is a matter of what works for the person. I suspect I am going to try a few before I find the one that works for me.

The tool has a lot of flexibility and I already have a complete home automation system so moving from one to another is difficult. If I was just starting out with a few components and grew my automation as I learned the product I think things would be easier. Unfortunately I am completely trying to move everything from one system to another learn a new tool at that same time. I need to take it slow and make the system work for me.
