With home automation I am hoping to reduce my electric usage and see if I could get the cost of the solar panels and the Tesla Powerwalls to be less than the cost of my currently monthly electric bill. I would also like to reduce the cost of propane generator. My propane cost could be $1K for a power outage that lasts a few days. I am hoping the Powerwall would smooth that cost.
